Crown Education Or Manipulation?
In Australia, as in America, the constitution is the back bone of this system. Unlike their American counterparts,
few Australians would know its key features, let alone be able recite its opening lines or preamble. Of particular interest
here, is that our constitution nowhere mentions citizens or citizenship. Pg4,5.

Perhaps this is not an oversight, rather a deliberate omission. For example.......

It is time for our society, and particularly our educational system, to stop playing the a game of winners
and losers with our childrens minds, hearts, and financial futures.
In our own school years, most of us were subjected not to a system of education but a system of elimination-----
and that system sadly continues even to this day. Rather than helping us develop the very best in each of us, this system
has pitted us against each other in a tragic struggle where only those whom the system defines as the fittest have survived.
In this system less that fifteen percent of us are defined as winners. The rest of us are left with a diminished sense of
our own self-worth.
In stead of leaving school with confidence that we have the skills to do well in life, all too many of us
have graduated crippled and hurt. Whats even worse, most of us are shamefully unprepared for the challenges we meet in the
adult world. Do we want to continue perpetrating this pattern for our own children and for the generations to follow them?.............
So destructive is the system that one os tempted to seek comparisons in the experiences of war. In his book,
"Mastering the Art of War", James Clearys translation and commentary on the classic by Sun Tzu, we read.........
When you have killed many people,
You weep for them in sorrow.
When you win in war,
You celebrate in mourning.
For many generations now, we have been celebrating by mourning-and the time has come for change. That change can begin
within each of us. We can unlearn the crippling, self-defeating habits and ways of thinking that we have been taught. In
the process, we will enjoy success in our own lives , and we will provide our young people with the models they require to
find success as they move into adult hood. Pg 9-10

Does school prepare children for the real world? "Study hard and get good grades and you will find a high-paying job
with great benefits," my parents used to say. Their goal in life was to provide a college education for my older sister and
me, so that we would have the greatest chance for success in life. When I finally earned my diploma in 1976 graduating with
honours, and near the top of my class, in accounting from Florida state university my parent s had realised their goal. It
was a crowning achievement of their lives. In accordance with the "Master Plan", I was hired by a "Big 8" accounting firm,
and I looked forward to a long career and retirement at an early age......
One day in 1996, one of my children came home disillusioned with school. He was bored and tired of studying. "Why should
I put time into studying subjects I will never use in real life?" He protested. Without thinking, I responded, "Because if
you dont get good grades, you wont get into college."
"Regardless of whether I go to college," He replied, "I am going to be rich."
"If you dont graduate from college, you wont get a good job, " I responded with a tinge of panic and motherly concern.
"And if you dont have a good job, how do you plan to get rich?"
"Mom," he began. It was my turn to be lectured. " Get with the times! Look around: the richest people didnt get rich because
of their educations. Look at Michael Jordan and Madonna. Even Bill Gates, who dropped out of Harvard, founded Microsoft; he
is now the richest man in America, and hes still in his 30s. There is a baseball pitcher who makes more than $4million a year
even though he has been labelled mentally challenged. "
There was a long silence between us. It was dawning on me that I was giving my son the same advice my parents had given
me. The world around us has changed, but the advice hasnt. Pg1&2

The kind or reasoning found in Mein Kampf is not unknown today. And if Hitler has to be understood, the study of
Mein Kampf is an essential part of this process. The second reason for its study is that we may know and recognise the
arguments of the enemies of democracy in our midst..... So miserably little time and thought is given in our educational
system to the analysis and understanding of contemporary political processes (Or to the rights, duties and intellectual justification
of citizenship) that the public generally seem unable to recognise these arguments for what they are, the shrill tones
of enemies of democracy. Pgxiii Extracts from introduction to "Mein Kampf" Adolf Hitler by D Cameron Watt University

That we do everything we can to reinstate the teaching of Australian history in our schools, so that those who come after
us will understand that the preservation of our way of life and the heritage of our great country have not been achieved without
sacrifice by those who have gone before us.
